Shittori Nail Pack Review
Hello friends! Today I will be reviewing a Japanese beauty item for your nails. The Shittori Nail Pack by @Cosme, which I picked up at Don Quijote in Japan. I couldn't find a whole lot of information on these (in English) online, so basically what I can tell you is, this is a moisturizing item for your nails and cuticles, and it's probably got some vitamins and things in it too.
Inside this pack are 10 little pocket thingies that you put your fingers in. These basically feel just like a face mask, and are soaked in a product that is a lot like what you feel with a face pack. It smells like citrus, which is nice. The hard part is putting these things on. If you can get someone to help you, that will definitely lessen the frustration you will feel. The cotton part will stretch and tear easily if you tug on it too hard.

So the tops of these things feel like cotton, and the bottoms are a more sturdy plastic that does not absorb very much, I guess so most of the product stays on top of the finger.
After leaving the pack on for 10-20 minutes (depending on how dry your cuticles are), you simply take off the finger thingies and rub in the rest of the product, just like you would do with a face mask. I didn't take a before picture, but my nail beds had white spots, my cuticles were dry and flaky, and even the skin on the sides of the nails were flaking. I was really surprised when I took off the finger thingies to see how hydrated my fingers actually were.
I wouldn't say this is very long lasting moisture, but it was definitely a nice treat for my poor fingernails that are constantly enduring gel and acetone. I wish I had bought more of these! But it also makes me wonder, could I just buy some cotton pads and soak them in the leftover product from face masks, and slap them on my fingers? I bet I could. But anyhow, if you ever see these anywhere, definitely give them a go, especially if you paint your nails all the time.
